Mifeprex You are the sole possessor of your fertility rights

Mifeprex - You are the sole possessor of your fertility rights!

Pregnancy is a much awaited event for many women and they welcome it with immense joy. However, for some women, it is full of misery or distress especially when it is caused by rape or unwanted sex. Mifeprex helps women to get rid of this suffering and terminate the pregnancy with 94% to 98% success rate.

The role played by Mifeprex

Sustainability of pregnancy depends on secretion of a feminine hormone called as Progesterone. By mimicking the actions of Prostaglandins, this medication blocks the secretion of progesterone. As a result, endometrium becomes weaker and begins to detach itself from the uterus. As a result, fetus implanted in the uterus also gets detached and expelled through the vagina. The process is initiated by uterine contractions.

Mifeprex - Mode of administration

Mifeprex is available in the form of oral pills containing 200mg of Mifepristone. These tablets should be taken as a single dose with food or water. After 36 to 48 days, 2 more pills containing misoprostol 200mcg each are to be taken. Ultrasound is administered after 14-21 days to confirm the termination of pregnancy. This procedure is more effective when conducted during first 63 days of pregnancy. If possible, whole process should be done under the supervision of healthcare professional.

Mifeprex - Prevent the mishaps

Mifeprex should not be taken with alcohol, grapefruit, or other prescription or non-prescription medications. Breastfeeding women should stay away from it as it can get absorbed into breast milk and harm the baby.
